Abeha is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Illinois. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University and a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University. Abeha is currently pursuing her PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision at Adler University.
Abeha has experience working with anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, individual and generational trauma, relationship and family challenges, life transitions, self-esteem issues, conflict navigation, and challenges related to being a first-generation American. Abeha’s trauma-informed, integrative approach draws from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and person-centered frameworks, while adapting to each client’s unique needs, background, and lived experience.
Abeha creates a collaborative, safe space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. She believes growth involves deepening self-awareness, taking personal responsibility, and building self-compassion. Incorporating a mind-body perspective, Abeha helps clients understand how emotions live in the body and how nervous system regulation can strengthen overall well-being.
