About Irma:
I’m Irma Hernandez, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Bilingual Psychotherapist (English & Spanish) dedicated to helping adults navigate life’s emotional challenges with compassion, presence, and evidence-based care. I specialize in supporting individuals dealing with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, and stress—guiding them toward greater balance, clarity, and emotional wellness.
With over eight years of experience in the U.S. and internationally, I offer a grounded and mindful approach to therapy that integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-focused interventions like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). My style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in mindfulness and self-awareness.
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected—and help them build a deeper connection with themselves, regulate difficult emotions, and move toward meaningful change. Whether you’re struggling with depression, recovering from trauma, or seeking greater inner peace, I offer a space where you can feel seen, supported, and empowered.
Healing doesn’t have to happen alone. If you’re ready to move forward with intention and care, I’m here to support you on your path.
