CCBH is currently and for the foreseeable future doing 100% telehealth

We want to be clear that this is every bit a social justice issue as much as it is a health and safety issue.  Not only are we prioritizing the health and safety of our therapists, but we also want to prioritize the health and safety of our clients; especially our most vulnerable clients, which is a huge part of our mission.  We serve a lot of financially- and/or physically-vulnerable folks here (immuno-compromised, respiratory disorders/difficulties, past the age of 60, folks with no insurance and/or limited access healthcare) and we want to make sure that we’re doing everything in our power to keep everyone safe.  When and only when we have clear evidence from our country’s scientific experts that it is safe to be indoors again will we return to the office which will not happen until the second half of 2021.  We appreciate your patience and understanding.

As a reminder, CDC recommendations for preventing the spread of infections include:

  1. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and if that is not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol
  2. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth
  3. Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or sleeve when coughing or sneezing.  Discard tissue immediately into a closed bin.
  4. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  5. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

We recognize that this is a unique situation and appreciate your understanding, vigilance, and flexibility.  We are monitoring the situation carefully, including consulting with physicians at Chicago’s major hospitals, and will continue to update you about how CCBH is responding.
