What are the insurance plans CCBH accepts?
All CCBH providers (therapists and prescribers) accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plans. Some therapists accept United Healthcare PPO, UMR, and Medicare.
How will I know how much my service will cost?
This will depend on your insurance plan and benefits. You can call the number on the back of your insurance card and ask about your mental health and/or medication management benefits.
Can I see a therapist or prescriber if I don’t have any of these insurance plans?
Absolutely! If you receive Out of Network (OON) benefits from your insurance, we can provide you with a superbill for you to request reimbursement from your insurance for out of network mental health coverage if applicable.
You can also pay out of pocket. Check out our self-pay rates below!
What are your self-pay rates?
Rates for Master’s Level Therapists (MA, MS, LSW, LPC) and/or doctoral trainees (1-3 years experience): $130 for initial assessment and $105 for individual sessions. Rates for couples/family therapy are $130 per session.
Rates for LCSWs, LCPCs, LMFTs, Psychologists and/or Postdoctoral Fellows (4-8 years of experience including graduate school): $180 for initial assessment and $160 individual sessions. Rates for couples/family therapy are $180 per session.
Rates for Licensed Therapists or Psychologists (8+ years of experience including graduate school): $200 for initial assessment and $180 for individual sessions. Rates for couples/family therapy are $200 per session.
Prescribers: $275 for the initial assessment and $190 for each 30-minute medication management sessions.
Why was I charged an amount bigger than my copay?
Insurance plans vary. Sometimes your copay will kick in after you have met your deductible. Please call number on back of insurance card to see how close you are to meeting your deductible and how much you will be paying until then.
(Co-pays and deductibles are both features of most insurance plans. A deductible is an amount that must be paid for covered healthcare services before insurance begins paying. Co-pays are typically charged after a deductible has already been met.)
I was charged and I don’t have a session today. Why is this?
For self-pay clients, we strive to run cards as close as we can to the date of service. However, sometimes things can get a little delayed and you might get charged a day or two after your session.
For clients who are using their insurance, we do not charge your card until your insurance has processed claims. This can take anywhere between one or four weeks on average. Once insurance has processed your claim and set up the amount owed, then we proceed to run payments.
I want to use a new/different card for specific or future payments. What should I do?
Please email admin@ciracenter.org so we can add a new Payment Authorization Form on your TherapyPortal account.
I didn’t get an email for my telehealth session (or I did get it, but my link has expired). What should I do?
Please email admin@ciracenter.org immediately so we can resend the email from TherapyPortal with a new link for you.
I need a statement of all of my services to submit to my insurance to get reimbursed through my Out of Network Benefits. What should I do?
You can email admin@ciracenter.org and we will promptly send a statement and/or superbill for you.
I will be changing my insurance plan or insurance company. What is the procedure I should follow?
Please inform your therapist and/or prescriber ASAP and email admin@ciracenter.org indicating:
- Final date of your current plan
- Start date of your new plan
- Type of plan/ insurance company
If you are switching to a plan or insurance company we do not accept, you will need to pay out of pocket or see your provider out of network. If there is a period of time between your current plan’s end date and your new plan’s start date, you will need to pay out of pocket for the sessions that you have for that period of time (or reschedule your sessions until your new plan begins).
I am in charge of payments for my adult relative’s sessions. What should I do if I have questions or want to update my billing information?
We will never confirm or deny whether someone is a client with us unless we have their written consent and/or ROI form on their chart. You can have your relative reach out to us by email (admin@ciracenter.org) or call (872 395 8091 x1) so they can provide us with authorization to contact you for billing matters.
I am a client, but someone else is in charge of paying for my sessions. I don’t want them to get information about my sessions other than billing. Is that possible?
Absolutely! You can specify this on your ROI form or you can email us to let us know. We will never share any of your information with anybody unless we have your written consent for it.
